Belated update on good news
So Rosie's x-rays showed no gaps, no rotation, and feet that looked like *normal* ponies' feet are supposed to :)
As a result the vet was keen to get her out of the heartbar shoes - I gather they can be linked to contracted heels. We were lucky the farrier was nearby in the next few days - so she's back to being barefoot in her back feet and "normal" shoes in the front.
It means we can think about doing some work again. We're keen to avoid hard ground in case concussion causes problems. And frosty grass. It will be a slow process and we've only managed two or three groundwork sessions since late November.
Fi has been going well and despite being in at night is still moving well. Well that is when weather allows - we've had high winds or rain and it has limited time to ride.
Duds hasn't had much attention as a result. He's decided to start losing his coat even earlier than normal - even before we got to the shortest day !
